Not Another PRM

PRMs shine at delivering training content, automating certification paths, and centralizing assets. This is critical when scaling new partner programs. Deal registration is also a core function. PRM reduces channel conflict and creates a sense of fairness among partners. This is the most widely adopted feature. From MDF forms to co-branded assets, PRMs create a hub where partners can access what they need without waiting on your team. It also provides a way to control who has access to what, and is particularly useful for managing partner tiers and incentives. So if your top priority is basic partner management, content delivery, and tracking deal registration, a PRM will serve you well.


But customers need more than what a PRM can offer. Today's partner ecosystem is vastly more complex. Here's where PRMs fall flat:


  • PRMs only track deal registration from one or multiple partners per deal, not the full sales cycle. If you are running co-sell programs, alliance motions, or multi-partner solutions, PRMs don't reflect reality.


  • PRMs don't measure partner influence. Not every partner sells. It has no way to capture who contributed to what in the entire sales cycle.


  • PRMs have no revenue attribution. Most PRMs don't connect cleanly to the CRM pipeline. It can't show which partners accelerate deals, improve win rates, or drive net-new ARR.


  • PRMs require partners to perform manual labor-intensive logging activities. Even the best PRM suffers from low partner engagement. They don't want another portal.


  • PRMs lack ecosystem intelligence. Which partners tend to win together? Which partners overlap in the same accounts? Where should you recruit more partners based on whitespace? PRMs can't answer these questions.
